Back to school.

Shani is back to school today. She was hopping to need a ride through the creek or maybe even a boat ride but it dident rain hard enough over night. had about 60mm though the day yesterday but only got to .

So things are just a bit soft this morning . The monsoon looks to be moving a bit south but there is still a bit of activity in the northern hemisphere holding things up ... The MJO is preety much on us so it could fire things along but I think the wind shear is stopping the lows in the coral sea from forming up ... Wait and see what this week brings to us....

Shani got a sewing machine for xmas and she has been practicing her sewing . I got some material for xmas for a shirt. Shani also got a pattern . so yesterday Jo and Shani worked together to cut out the patten and then the pieces for my shirt. Shani is very interested and enjoying it alot. Shani will probly do sewing lessons in town this year after school one day a week and she is looking forward to that.
