Happy Oz day to all ..
Well the monsoon is pushing down slowly, however the largest rain falls so far have been to the south with some areas around Townsville getting over 100mm . As this reacts with the SE flow it should push the rain bands back up our way over today /tonight... Any way we are kind of ready . I need to move the old volvo to higher ground but might need to get a tractor to tow it out. its got to go... Shani had some fun with it for a while buit its now stuffed... Having had over 800mm this month aand higher tides this weekend, the river may rise with only 50 to 100mm . but we will wait and see. Its preety calm at the moment and today they have a big boat race out to Low Isles and back to Port Douglas. Might just slip the boat in and slip out to have a peek.
