Very interesting weather here with absolutely bucket loads of rain South of Cairns and just big heavy shower/ slow storms pressing in on us here on the river. The Daintree has had small rises on the high tides but only approx 200 < 300mm.
We have however moved some stuff out and begun to prepare for the anual Lift .
Reports of no food in the shops in Cairns and friend s in Mossman who has all so had more rain than us say that woolies ha snothing on the shelves . We are right here for about 3 week s I would say so we sit and wait.
Watch this space for developments as they come to pass..
