well a nice weekend up here on the river , very steamy with storms in the arvos / nights .
Last night we had lots of thunder & lightning with the power flicking on and off for an hour or 2 but no black out..

The weather man says we could get some big falls this week , with the monsoon trough on us and the area of convergance preety much over Port douglas, this could be seen yesterday arvo very clearly on the radar with storms moving from the SW to the south of Port and from the NW to the north. This patten if it remains can bring very heavy rain ..
This morning though it is clear and sticy already. Shani's first day back at school this morning. Year 7 , wow next year its off to High school how time flys ..
