Lots of rain around with Cyclone Nelson crossing the coast around Gilbert River on the western cape coast. Nelson or at least his remains are forcast to cross the mainland and reintensify somewhere south of Cairns..
The feeder bands of rain can be seen swilling over us and dropping good rainfall totals.
At this stage the river is up but not by to much and it will just depend on how much rain we get today / tonight as the remains get closer to us here.
