ISDN

I have put in the order for our phone line to be upgraded to an isdn service. This will give us a garanteed 128k net conection not high speed but better than the 28 or 32k we curantly have. how ever I placed the order @ 13:00 and was given an apointment for the 21st well by 15:30 they rang back to say that my appointment was canceled and I have been ascined a case manager to look @ our phone line and its problems. They now tell me that I cant have isdn because our phone line wont carry the signal , The people next door have isdn and there line is the same one as ours of the 10 pair that cross the river upstreem from us they have 2 we have 2 (only use 1) and the outhers are to the 3 other residants up from us. So the line will carry it its just that the staff in melboune dont know whats up here and now say cant have it.. it will be a long and interesting time getting all this sorted ...

Showers still coming over regularly which is good as we are trying to refill the pool today after getting the pumps going yesterday and giving it agood clean out . there were 6 big eye mullet swimming around as the water got down. dident need to pressure wash this year just a good scrub with green scourer all over and looks great now.

Shani had a good day in Cairns with here friends and the movie was good.
