waiting
51mm this morning.
We have had 820mm for April and 3682mm for the year so far ....
Now I have managed to get a couple of shots up so here go's ...
The bald head.

I'm keeping it shaved for a while see what its like when winter gets here..
Now a few from the floods of last month...

Our water tanks moved both tanks were full but as the water got to the same level they moved the one on the right had the tap open so it only moved about 2 feet but the other tank had the tap closed so it floated , pulling a star picket out and swung around on the other stay rope , must have both taps open for thease events .
Shani and I getting the boat ready for a look around ..

Off we go around the house to the back yard...
And after we went to Daintree for lunch thinking that the locals would be having a few and enjoying the day as we have in the past , however the low life that is running the general store thease days was shut and the sign said open for an hour from 16:00 to 17:00 ... I went round to there house and got a box of beer but was told not to come back in a hurry ,,, I'll ring him and make sure hes going to do a warm lunch for us and other locals if we do flood this week .. :) in the past I've seen the whole Daintree population partying in the street on flood days ... Bugger just dont like locals ...
So as the waters went down the boat was left at the front steps .
And the fences litted with debris .
Then the next day its back to school and work but we still need to walk out , allways looking for a croc . Interestingly in the last week and a half 3 or 4 big crocs have moved up the river into our reach , this has meant that some of the tour boats are distrubing the peace and quiet of our part of the river. are they moving befor a big flood or whats the go .??? just observations at this stage .
